Limited Use RF ticketing
We also provide the next generation of transit ticketing – limited Use Radio Frequency (RF) tickets, which are equally beneficial for a wide range of applications. They can be used for entry to a transportation network, access to stadiums, park-and-ride using a stored value or timed period of use. These ticket complement the traditional plastic smart card and are now replacing some magnetic ticketing systems.
The tickets, developed in partnership with Philips Semiconductors, are ISO 14443 A-compliant, and use MIFARE® Ultralight technology for close-proximity applications.
MAGNADATA are working closly with all system integrators in the development and deployment of this new technology.
Recently Magnadata have been working with Cubic to develop the Breeze Card shown above and have secured the manufacture and supply contract of the cards for use on the MARTA system Atlanta.
